This is Mental Fitness Fridays.
Live and Learn.
We say it as a comfort and instruction when things doesn’t go as planned. The phrase is passive. I prefer learn to live.
Mental Fitness requires doing both. It’s an active approach. Learning’s required. Death makes life meaningful.
Time, age, and our bodies limits us. Exceeding perceived limits means learning. It unlocks possibilities, opportunities. What do you most need to learn? What don’t you want me to ask you about?
The things we want most are found in things that make us uncomfortable. You know - the things we avoid.
I believe God put me here to help people learn things can be different. Better.
Athletes are my people.
I learn from everyone. From their stories, pain, and dilemmas and about them. Learning can be messy. To prepare to that mess, I watch documentaries, listen, and read.
Ignorance may be bliss. I'd rather learn how to live than risk ignorance. We all need the skills to live in the moment. That's why I love puns. It takes me to the moment. People smile, shake their heads. That’s just how I roll. One after another is flow. We pause and connect.
Share us with everyone. I'd love to keynote your event to help you change the conversation to mental fitness.
