Overcoming the Consistency Conundrum

Mental Fitness Fridays

This is Mental Fitness Fridays.

Are you consistently inconsistent

It's a pattern that messes with mental fitness.

The myths and traps say consistency is about traits we have…not smart, consistent habits.

When athletes are in a slump, they seek a slump buster and superstition, routines or create a curse. Look for screaming, bright, all or nothing patterns that magically will find the key to get out of the slump.

This is at the expense of getting out of our head and making adjustments. We create theories about what's wrong, and test them. Then we trash the theories, not because there completely inaccurate, but because every theory has a flaw.

This, my friends, is why we overthink

The mental toughness trolls tell you you're everything wrong. Ha Ha I told you you suck you idiot.

The reality?

Most slumps are a combination of things that interfere with execution.

Want to be more consistent?

Consistent action, consistent evaluation, and sticking to the processes you have developed will help.

Setting aside harsh judgement fueled by anger and revising your habits - not completely trashing them.

Create consistent habits around important things that contribute to your success. that's mental fitness.

Share our emails and on social. Together we can change the conversation to mental fitness.
